A text conversation started it all:
Nicole: I just had a fantastic idea!
Scotty: What's that baby doll?
Nicole: We should write a blog together!
Scotty: Involving?
Nicole: Relationships. Our advice and stories.
Scotty: I think it will take a little sitting down and brainstorming, but I would love to do that. To do a Q&A blog, we have to find the Q's first.
Nicole: Well, we can write about past experiences. And, as issues arise or we hear about stuff, we can write about it.
Scotty: I will totally do it!
Nicole: Sweet! I'll design it tonight!
Scotty: Now we have to get some good pictures for our blog :)
Nicole: Yeah, we do.
Scotty: SOOOOO EXCITED!!
Nicole: lol really?
Scotty: What about this doesn't seem like it would be fun and good for our relationship?
Nicole: I think it would be totally fun.
Scotty: Me too. *pause* I have to wear a hat in our pictures you know.
Nicole: lol, We'll see.
Scotty: No, I'm wearing a hat.
Nicole: Ooook
Scotty: That's right! Im Scotty. I do what I want.
Nicole: mmm hmmm
Scotty: Until Nicole is there. Then I do what she wants cause that's what we want.
Nicole: I need to make you a shirt that says that.
We go home. Sign into Skype and share a screen to build this amazing blog you are now reading. Once we got it looking like we want it I (Nicole) sit back with and admire our (read: My) work. Then this conversation happens:
Scotty: Why do I have to make it?
Nicole: Cause I did everything else.
Scotty: Well, I don't have photoshop on my computer right now, but I will do it later.
Nicole: What?! *facepalm* ok...
Scotty: We don't have to get it all done tonight.
Nicole: Yes we do! *argh* (pause) Well, lets write a post.
Scotty: Ok
Nicole: What do you wanna write about?
Scotty: Whatever you wanna write about, baby doll.
Nicole: *frustrated sigh*
I was hoping to have an insightful first post... but since my collaborator *cough* Scotty *cough* doesn't want to collaborate this is what you get.
